My first piercing was performed at Body Piercing by Bink during my senior year of high school, born mostly out of curiosity and a friend’s insistence for company during her piercing. Body modification became an instant fascination for me.
After receiving a BA in Elementary Education and teaching grade school for a couple of years, I took on an apprenticeship at this same shop. I worked as the primary piercer and Office Manager for six years.
Since September 2009, I have maintained membership in good standing with the Association of Professional Piercers. I began volunteering for the APP in 2012 and my responsibilities just keep growing. I began working with Jim Ward and Kendra Jane in 2015 as the Managing Editor of Content and Statistics for
The Point.
With my love of procedural, environmental, and client diversity, I’ve taken on the role of a traveling piercer. I welcome opportunities to guest spot in professional studios, sharing knowledge and learning new methods. I also have a wealth of administrative, photographic, and advertising expertise for shops looking to reorganize or improve business practices.
